Victorian Western District
Hamilton is a rural city in the Western District of Victoria, situated between the coast and the stunning Grampians. It’s a great place to live and a popular place to visit.
Despite being a rural town, Hamilton security concerns still exist – as with any locality. Hamilton has a population of approximately 10,100 (Census SA2 2011, ABS) so it is by no means the smallest town on the map.
The Western Region of Victoria experienced a 6.7% increase in the number of offences during 2012/13, to 64,367 offences, according to the Crime Statistics Official Release 2012/2013 (www.police.vic.gov.au).
Portland Night Patrol Services offer free quotes or no obligation security assessments to help you determine the highest level of security for your home or business within your budget.
