• Each static guard or security patrolman is required to have at least the following qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 in Security Operations
  • Private Security Individual Licence (Security Guard)
  • First Aid Level 2.

• All Portland Night Patrol Services employees undergo a National Police check (checking criminal history) before they commence employment. These checks are then performed at regular intervals, not exceeding three years, throughout their employment.
• We quickly provide fully qualified security guards to cover personnel who are sick or on annual leave etc, with no disruption or compromise to the security of the site.
• Staff Support and Backup – Portland Night Patrol Services’ security guards are supported by our Australian Graded Control Centre as well as Police and Vehicle Tracking.
• OH & S – Portland Night Patrol Services has the appropriate competencies to deal with security activities.
• Portland Night Patrol Services has the appropriate public liability insurance coverage for security guarding and patrolling while on the premises.
